I let them dress up
Take them to a night on the town (Old Gym carnival)
buy them shiny presents/prizes (same thing)
make them pose in front of a vampire Tigger
Buy them popcorn
And then go to bed and plot what we are going to do to stay busy for more days of
dear daddy's hunting trip.
I even went crazy this year and subjected us all to a slumber party in my room. An hour into Elise's antics Jara declared it was time to "put that baby in her crib." It was a nice idea but...
