The last 7 months I've been in primary, for the first time in 4 years. I forgot how fun it can be, I love the primary songs and the things kids say, especially when they are praying, they are so sincere and to-the-point. Here are some of my favorite prayers I've heard over the months...
Bless that we will keep our hands to ourselves. (PLEEEAAASSEE)
Please help us get home safe and not die. (This kid's parent must drive like one of Jara's parents)
Bless that the food at dinner won't be nasty. (I've been the recipient of this prayer before)
We are thankful for the chairs. (They are very useful)
I really don't need to say anything more.

In Bloom
My Texas Rangers and Birds of Paradise are in full desert majesty! My roses had already bloomed and died off so this a nice replacement!

'99
Well, it's been 10 years since I graduated MVHS. Reunion time approaches. Here's to a little reminiscing...
State B-ball
A little card playing

Washington D.C.
Best Hair
(yes I'm still proud of those locks. a girl who never combed her hair, at least I did for the picture)
Yes, I know not 99 but 93,
But all of us graduated together and this really is the most awful/hilarious picture ever.
Disclaimer: sorry if I exploited you and sorry I didn't crop/straighten the pics
DO NOT LINK THIS POST TO ANY THING OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN LIKE A DOG!!!

Mother's Day
Last year I was saved by Credit Card man from having a Wii system. (see mother's day post from last year) Where were you this year credit card man?
This is only a sample picture. The real deal was twice as accessorized, complete with orange and pink balls, Jara ate. I think Jed was a little scared when I hit a target with deadly aim and then told him he got a ten second head start, so start running! (In case you were wondering paint balls are edible, they consist of vegetable oil and food dye.)
In all fairness, I did get a very nice picture frame and a care package on mother's day, otherwise, you probably would be seeing pictures of what I can do with a gun! (paint ball gun that is)

Innovation
Jara is highly innovative. Her two-year-old thinking abilities allow her to see outside the box way better than most adults. (Basically, she knows how to get her way, but every now and then she applies her talent in a broader sense.)
Here is what happens when you need a family car to go along with your doll house people. I only pray she has not participated in this in real life without my knowledge. (Which could be possible.)

Here is what happens when you can't find the other kitchen chair. Every woman's nightmare, every man's dream? Jara's exact words were "mommy, daddy eat dinner." Jed better not pull the pot up to the table to eat!
